About Us
Studio A is a stained glass and mosaic art studio. Stained glass is a beautiful but dying art, almost forgotten. Now, in Chennai, India, we are practicing this art, centuries after it arrived in India from Europe. Stained glass adds elegant colours and vibrancy to any space.
The glass we use in Studio A is not painted but original stained glass, whose colours do not ever fade. Made by adding metallic salts in the manufacturing process while the glass is still in liquid state, the glass never loses its colour. We precisely hand cut the coloured glass and meticulously solder them together with lead, to create myriad, vivid and elegant designs.
Each project we undertake is tailored to the remit of the particular client. Taking the time to understand their intent, setting and needs, we create what is both unique and satisfying to the client. We take pride in the perfect rendering of each work and exceeding expectations.
Our projects range across private and public, commercial and state spaces, from chic company logos to brightening hotel lobbies to enlivening private courtyards and entrances, we take pleasure in each endeavour and in the joy of our clients.

In our fused glass art, our quirky, playful creativity is unleashed to bring life to every wild idea of yours! Be it in surprising shapes, unexpected sizes, or design, we use fine fusing techniques and kilns to craft stellar pieces to adorn your spaces with finish and sophistication.
